Format: 5-round Swiss System (single game per round) Time Control: G/3 + 2 sec increment
One Section: Open (open to players of all ratings)
Important:- USCF and FIDE Rated.
- USCF membership required prior to registration (may be purchased or renewed on site).
- FIDE ID required PRIOR to registration!
- FIDE IDs are free. USA-based players can request one here: FIDE ID Request Form
- It can take as long as a week to get a FIDE ID assigned so request yours ASAP!

April 2023 US Chess ratings will be used for section eligibility, pairings, and prize eligibility.
Other ratings may be used if higher. The decision of the Chief Tournament Director regarding
eligibility, rating adjustments, conversions, unofficial ratings, or other rating issues is final. - Boards, sets, AND clocks will be provided for blitz play.
Prizes: Total Prize Fund $250 based on 20 paid entries.
1st: $100, 2nd: $60, Top U2000: $50, Top U1400: $40

Registration: On-site only. Available from 4pm Friday, Apr 28, to 7pm Saturday, Apr 29.
Players registering after this time may be given a half-point bye for Round 1.
Schedule: Round 1 Starts at 7:30pm or at conclusion of Round 3 of
2023 April FIDE Classic,
whichever is later. Other rounds paired as soon as possible.
Refunds: Refunds may be requested until one hour before the start of Round 1.
No refunds will be given after that time.
All refunds will incur a 5% processing fee.
